Trey Zinsmeister won first place for the Biodiversity, Ecology, and Behavior poster category
Ethan Waddle won first place for the Forensic, Medical, & Veterinary Entomology and Vector Biology & Management poster category
Abilene Morgan won a travel award for Medical, Urban, and Veterinary Entomology
All three students are mentored by Associate Professor Allison Parker. Dr. Parker is an eco-epidemiologist, which means she studies the intersection between ecology and disease. Her research focuses on mosquitoes, ticks and the diseases they transmit in human-dominated landscapes.
